Pippin’s Plugins: Dedicated to WordPress Plugin Development

Pippin’s Plugins: Dedicated to WordPress Plugin Development

Featured, Portfolio, Websites Portfolio0 comments

Over the last several years, hundreds of WordPress tutorial sites have popped up all over the web, many of them covering all aspects of WordPress development. But, even with all of them, there is a void: not a single site dedicated purely to WordPress plugin development.

Well, now I’d like to announce my new website: Pippin’s Plugins.com. It’s goal is to fill the plugin void in the WordPress world: a site dedicated to nothing but plugin development.

There are hundreds of websites out there, including WP Mods, that provide daily, weekly, and monthly tutorials for WordPress developers, but to the best of my knowledge, there is not a single WordPress website out there that focuses purely on plugin development. So I will be filling that hole.

On Pippin’s Plugins I will be publishing daily tips and tricks, as well as in-depth tutorials and free plugin releases weekly. I will also be publishing near weekly plugin reviews of other developer’s plugins and giving my professional opinion on the quality of the plugin. Both free and premium plugins will be reviewed. I am also accepting plugin submissions for authors who would like me to review or possibly list their plugin on the site.

My tips, tricks, and tutorials will be from basic to beginner and will cover many, many aspects of plugin development, including working with databases, setting up jQuery / Ajax, displaying content in posts, creating post types, taxonomies, and just about every other topic.

I encourage all of you to check out my new site, leave some comments, and subscribe to my mailing list for email updates.

You may also follow my new Twitter account @pippinsplugins

Thanks!
