Building Blocks – Free

After writing a dozen plus custom themes and starting from scratch each time, I finally got smart and wrote a base template that lays out all of the basic structures and styles, shavings hours off of every project.

Building Blocks includes:

• Widget ready sidebar
• Template file for sidebar-enabled pages
• Template file for pages with no sidebar
• Clean coding with comments for easy modification
• Basic styling for most elements, including forms
• Custom Comment Template to allow for easy styling

Theme files include:

• index.php
• page.php
• single.php
• header.php
• sidebar.php
• comments.php
• functions.php
• footer.php
• style.css
